
Raymarine announces WATCHIT collaboration on IBI
New partnership to see WATCHIT collision avoidance technology integrated into Axiom plotter line, LightHouse charts designated official Watchit cartography supplier
Fareham, UK-based electronics giant Raymarine announced a new collaboration with Israeli tech firm WA this week, which will see the company's anti-collision technology incorporated into Raymarine Axiom chartplotters.
The new collaboration will also see Raymarine's LightHouse charts adopted as the official cartography supplier for WATCHIT moving forward.
Inspired by automotive safety technology, WATCHIT's Smart Collision Prevention System employs sophisticated algorithms and sensor fusion to provide timely warnings before a collision or grounding occurs. By combining with Raymarine's cutting-edge chartplotters, boaters now have access to a complete safety ecosystem at their fingertips, according to the firm.

The new collaboration will also see Raymarine's LightHouse charts adopted as the official cartography supplier for WATCHIT moving forward.
